A marketplace between families
PreLovedIE is an independent Irish marketplace for pre-loved communion, confirmation and flower girl wear, boys formalwear, christening wear, shoes and accessories. Families list their own items and sell them directly to other families.
Selling an item

Photograph the item
Three to six photos in daylight — the whole item, front and back, details, labels and anything worth pointing out.

Write the details and choose your listing
Shoes and accessories cost €5.00 and every dress or suit €20.00. Each stays live for 6 months with no sale commission.

We check it, then publish
A quick check that photos and details look right, then your listing goes live and buyers can see it.

Arrange the sale yourself
Buyers message you through the site. You agree the price, payment and handover, then mark it sold in your dashboard — the buyer confirms and your shop voucher is issued.

Questions
Who am I buying from?+
Another family. PreLovedIE is a listings platform — the person who listed the item owns it, sells it and posts or hands it over. We never take possession of any item.
Do you inspect or guarantee the items?+
No. Condition, measurements and descriptions come from the seller. We do a light check that a listing looks genuine before it publishes, but we don't see, inspect or authenticate items, and we don't handle the sale payment.
What does listing cost?+
Shoes and accessories cost €5.00 to list and every dress or suit €20.00. Each listing runs for 6 months with no sale commission. Featured placement is an optional extra €10.00.
Is the listing fee refundable?+
If your listing can't be published, the fee is refunded in full. Once it's published the fee isn't refunded, because it has done its job.
What happens after six months?+
Your listing moves to Expired and disappears from the site. You can relist it whenever you like — a relist is a new listing and a new fee.
How do I stay safe?+
Meet somewhere public if you're handing over in person, or use a payment method that keeps a record. Never send money without speaking to the seller first, and report anything that looks off using the link on the listing.
Can I return something I bought?+
That's between you and the seller — items are pre-loved and sold as described. Ask everything you want to know before you pay.
Do buyers need an account?+
No. You only need an account to list an item and manage it.
